Training
Dear Team,
There are a couple of training opportunities for us in the summer.
August 8 there will be training for those of you who work with younger children mark your calendars now and set that date aside.
August 29 our church will host a one day workshop with International Network of Children's Ministry . I am asking all of you who work in our Sunday morning and Wednesday night teams to plan on attending this work shop. It will be of no cost to you because we are the host church. I will be sending more details soon. Topics will be; Connecting Kids to the Bible, Connecting with Parents, and at this moment the third topic has escaped my mind. INCM puts on a one of the best Children's Pastor Conferences, but there are only two a year and it is very costly. This workshop is there local version. Here is the link for the national one they put on. http://www.incm.org/ I think the quality will be great.
We are still continuing with CPR/first aid training. The next class is scheduled for Feb. 28 and I think it may already be full. Thanks Michelle for making this training happen for us.
As always I am very thankful to each one of you who serve on this team no mater what age you work with. I am very blessed and honored to partner with each of you as we assist the parents of this church family in training their children and making a place where an unchurched family can come and know that their child is safe and having a good time.
Read Zephaniah 3:17. What does this mean? Imagine God rejoicing as you enter the room. See him swoop you up in his arms and declare to everyone that he is well-pleased with you. Meditate on the fact that God delights in you.

Happy New Year
Dear Team Members,
Happy New Year !! As we start out a new year we begin with a Missions emphasis.
KidZone Sunday Morning Team:
This month we will focus on Missions. Our key verse is Ecclesiastes 4:9. We will be helping the kiddos understand how important it is to help our missionaries. We can encourage, pray for, give to and help tell others.
Bibleventure Team:
The trip on the bus was awesome. thanks Bro. Johnny for driving us, Ms. Charlotte for the party stuff and apologies to Ms. Mary for leaving you.
We begin a New Year in Bibleventure. There will some regrouping for the elementary ages. There will be some more customizing of lessons for each group. I am planning on offering some options to our older kids.
Nursery Team:
The remodel will begin very soon, but on a smaller scale than originally planned. Be prepared to be flexible during this time. There may be weeks where you will have to utilize a different room than usual. Remember that young ones can sense your tension. So be calm and be patient.
The nursing room will become the area to store supplies for the project, so the mommies will need to use the private stall in the women's bathroom adjacent to the nursery. It will be marked and a small table and chair will be added to the stall.
Thanks to all of you for your support of the added policies.
